I will start from the beginning.
After a fairly hot nights sleep in our hotel in Barbados we repacked whatever we had unpacked and sent Jess and Bec to buy some breakfast. While the rest of us were waiting for them to return we all counted the number of mossie bites that Deborah had got in the night. She is currently winning the competition with seven bites. Bec and Jess returned from the supermarket near by with a pot of jam, bread, some yoghurt and lots and lots of bottles of water. It was a very tasty meal!
We were very pleased when our lovely taxi driver from yesterday came to pick us up from the Pirate Inn. Soon we were at the airport and ready to check in. However this proved to be much more complicated than we originally thought.
We were told by an unsmiling lady that we were not able to board the plane because there were no seats for us. This made us all quite confused because we turned up very early to check in. Unfortunately we could not get a reasonable explanation from the flight company as to why they had no seats but thankfully they arranged accommodation for us in a lovely hotel.
Sad faces because we could not get on the plane :( |
Our hotel has a mirrored ceiling- exciting! |
